The prequel to the Batman franchise, Batman Begins, opens in theaters on June 15, but attendees of the annual E3 show had an up close look at the evil machine and so do we thanks to Joystiqs coverage. The style is much colder and harder than the Batmobiles of yore (matching the feel of the movie), resembling more of a F-117A Stealth fighter than a sleek cruiser. Were sure it has plenty of tricks for ol master Wayne to employ. Do chicks still dig the car? Theres a shot of the rear at the link.

WE had a thread about this a long, long time ago. This thing is ugly as sin. If Lamborghini made a tank, this is it.

yeah i just dont think this batmobile does batman justice, but this movie still looks great andf i cant wait to see it, june 15!
anyways its tough to top the 1989 batmobile, that thing i think eminated batman perfectly, even if it had machine guns (which goes against batmans vow not to use lethal weapons since that is what killed his parents)
although if maybach had donated that exelero concept to this move that would have been quite cool (it looks batmobile like, so it could have made a good batmobile, and gotten a plug for mb maybach)
