Engadget basically said that The GBM is pushing what is acceptable for handheld gaming. One big thing which they didn't necessarily like is that the screen is really, really small and makes it hard to play some of the games. It will sell though, you can bet on that.

This is more or less the same size of my Archos G400 mini. BUT, i have 20gb space, can watch Divx movies, play Mophun games, connect it to my TV, listen MP3 music and move pics from my camera to it and watch them.

I wouldn't even put the Gmini and the Gameboy in the same category. They are about the same size, and both play games, sure. The big difference are that the Gameboy Micro should cost about $70 and the Archos costs $350. Also, Mophun games are pretty much crap compared to GBA titles. The Gameboy is not meant to be a mobile media center like the Archos - its meant to be an affordable video game device for people who are sick of playing Tetris on their mobile phone.
And if they do bring it out at $70 or less, I will definitely be getting one. |
