Thanks all. I'm on my way back to the hospital now don't know when I'll be home to post but will update as I can. They just did a doppler of her legs I guess to see if she has anymore clots.

Thank you, right now she and I need all the prayers, help and support we can get.

It's just faith, as silly as that may seem, in believing there is a Plan. A reason.
She faces this struggle and wins, many things in the future will seem less bad. That's a for instance.

Would like to throttle the ER doctor who found the "clot" according to him "you have a blood clot on your lung." When the other doctor came in today we got the real picture. She has 4 clots on her lung. She's been getting the shots in her stomach and taking another blood thinner which after she's through with the shots in 3 more days she will have to stay on the blood thinner fore the next 6 months.

She was actually doing laundry and cleaning up the night she couldn't breathe. I just feel very lucky that nothing happened and they moved because she could have died, but she didn't and that's plenty to be greatful for. Still think someone dropped the ball and this should have been caught early on, but am greatful that it was caught. So that's the scoop. The doctor said since I'm a nursing assistant that he can send her home if I'm willing to give her the injections. So hopefully that will work.

Thanks for the thoughts.

Given the incredible complexity of biological systems it's actually pretty damn amazing that problems don't occur more often.

Morgan and Trinity update.....

As of today we finally after three weeks in the hospital walked in our door!

She continuted the shots in her stomach and took the last one this morning. Her blood is thinning out to the levels they want. Although again, seems to me if you know she has multipule blood clots one would think that they would do another CT scan just to be sure they were breaking up and doing what they were supposed to, but they didn't. We back tracked through the events of the last three weeks and even met with a Patient Rep to voice our concerns and remembered that on the second day after her surgery she had gotten up to go to the restroom and the nurse negleted to turn back on the units that massage her legs for the purpose of preventing blood clots. The machine was off for about 12 hours. Wondering if that could effect or cause what happened? It's tough to know about the genitic aspect of it because I'm adopted. However, I had three normal pregnancy's as well as three c-sections with no complications as well as several cancer surgeries with no clotting issues.

Dr. Strange ~ the pain was located on her right side and if you looked to where she was pointing one would assume that it was a kidney issue but the area she incorporated was the kidney lung area. She continued to express that this was where the pain was but it seemed that they wanted to write it off as a kidney issue even though her blood work and urine sample didn't indicate it. The colony was only 2000 which you would know is miniscule for what they were looking for. Still don't understand why they didn't check for DVT.

Anyway they say the bad always comes in three's. She was in there for three weeks, had 3 blood clots, Trinity was three weeks old yesterday and she had three different specialist look at her. If the numbers are correct then we should be done!!! She will now have to stay on blood thinner for the next 6 months and get her INR levels checked weekly for a while, but home she is and with her new baby. Thank you all for you thoughts and prayers. Never really know if it helps but is certainly can't hurt. to you all.
