Why are my emails not getting through?
 

I'm trying to forward an email I got from my brother to my mum. I keep forwarding it to her email address but she isn't receiving it. She has a blueyonder.co.uk address, and mine is hotmail.com (I've also tried sending from my blueyonder.co.uk address and it still doesn't work). Spam block/AV block? I assume this is going through Outlook/WL Mail? Maybe your mum blocked you.

Yeah, I'm using Windows Live Mail and she's using Outlook (I presume; it's Windows Vista). I checked her spam folder and they're not in there.

Also, as I said, a simple hello email from me is getting through.

Did you not get a bounce back error to your blueyonder email? Sounds like it's being accepted at her end but the server has quarantined it.

No, nothing.

Log on to the webmail version of her email. Most online email solutions have their own spam protection, which will stop them ever getting to her Outlook client.

Have you tried clicking the "Forward" button? Try that and report back.
