Default Double solar eclipse
So there was a nice partial eclipse yesterday morning, but most of us missed it due to the miserable UK weather.

However, this guy managed to get 2 eclipses in one shot... pretty amazing [thumbup]

You don't need to have special glasses to view a solar eclipse. All you need to do is use a pair of binoculars to project an image of the Sun onto a piece of white card.

I wonder which one's more expensive.

That's not as fun though.

Good pick up! I think it might be. I just had a quick google image comparison and definitely the same outline shape. Even though each side has 8 solar panels it's probably just not zoomed in enough to see that detail.

Is it possible to get an image of the station zoomed in or cropped to 100%? Assuming it isn't already.

Or an old floppy disk. They are translucent and the sun is bright enough to shine through and be visible. [thumbup]

Floppies are STILL useful. hehe.
