Default ebay increasing their final fees !
Currently if you sell a 'technology' item for £400 the fees are £8.67 plus 1.5% of the final value so a £400 item has a charge of £14.67 (£6 + £8.67).

So for a £400 item the fees are increasing by 273%.

To get to £40 fees with the current structure your item would need to sell for £2,733 (£27.33 + £12.67).

Holy **** they are price gouging....

I actually just thought they were taking about 10% at the moment as it was.

Anything I sell starts at 99p (so is free to list) and they take a 10% slice. Then Paypal probably another 5%.

eBay is a monopoly and needs to have REAL competition.

Their fees are killing me.
