Default I always knew it, Apple are dicks.
http://www.destructoid.com/apple-con...3-197492.phtml

Why would they do such a thing?

Edit: I'll add this from a couple of days ago as supporting evidence.

http://www.dailytech.com/Apple+Order...ticle21693.htm

Apple told their staff to not help anyone with a big Mac Malware outbreak because these customers were too stupid to help. Now I agree that's fair, but to pretend it isn't happening is cold.

Are you serious? Do you have any idea how many tech events there are worldwide?

Apply this logic: Why would Apple deliberately book dates that conflict with an expo that gives them **** loads of free publicity?

Well exactly, why have they?

I don't know whether it's part of the whole Apple arrogance or what, but It seems a bit odd.

Aren't these 2 events targetting different audiences? Isn't e3 mainly about games? Isn't Apple's conference mainly about the future of it's OS platforms? Do I have any more questions? I don't think so.

For the sake of the argument, let's say they have done it deliberately....so what? If you looked up every expo in the world I'm sure that there will be loads with conflicting interests on matching days. Apple will have just found the most convenient dates for themselves and gone with them. There are about a million different factors to consider so it's pointless trying to guess what made that the best dates for them.

WTF, I didn't know Apple had 5 day conferences. Jesus christ, I'd die if I had to be / work there.
Besides, you can easily discover everything any apple device can do within an hour or two.

No he's pretty much right, unless there is new software on it, it should only take a hour or two to take the measure of any device. Aren't Apples supposed to be user friendly?

Is it not possible that developers for Apple devices might also want to go to E3. For example mobile video game developers. Maybe the article is just making something of nothing though.

True, but doesn't make the title of the thread less correct.
