And im glad Firefly got canned, now Nathan Fillion plays in a new TV show called Castle, and he does a fantastic job.
He could have done both!!! But yes, he's awesome in Castle

Biggest mistake MGM ever made was axing SG1 & Atlantis for the mediocrity that is Stargate Universe. With all the personal diaries, they should of called it Stargate Facebook and I '#'%$%*@~ hate facebook. [cursing]

Best sci-fi series ever was Babylon 5. I've just watched the last episode of V and I hope it's gets a 3rd season. The last episode was excellent and surely ABC can't let the bad guys win? This is a travesty, in sci-fi the bad guys never win. Boycott ABC.

Farscape > Babylon 5 imo.

But for SGU, I actually don't mind the show. I've been keeping up with the series and it's gotten better. They've finally established a grand plotline for the entire show. Personally, I like this darker look. I think if they had created another Stargate Series with the same look and feel as the first two, it would just be too boring.

The latest episode of SGU was amazing, so well done. Too bad they couldn't keep double-Rush it was pretty funny watching them dialogue with each other.

Fixed, rest just doesn't compare, except maybe Firefly.

I liked what I saw of Universe, but lost it when Sky1 took a break in season one. Will be interesting to catch up, just a shame I know theres not much left to enjoy.

I just can't get into SGU (and obviously won't). The only character I like is a minor one who often isn't even in an episode, there's a really weak leadership which is pretty contrary to military norms and it's too darn religious.

The original SG1 was really good but got weird at the end. I also liked that show Farscape but I only seen a few episodes.

Galactica was sweet and it had a good run and an actual ending that is missing from so many shows today, cough *24* cough. Anyways, I hope Blood & Chrome can be just as memorable the downside being we know what happens to the 12 colonies 40 years later no matter what happens on the show itself unless they go into some time-travel change the future stuff.

Kind of the way Star Trek shot itself in the foot with Enterprise. [rofl]

I actually watched Enterprise recently (hated it when it was on air) and forced myself through season 1, and was glad I did. Season 2, 3 and 4 were very good (a lot of time travel, secrets revealed of Klingon foreheads, Enterprise J etc). Its just a shame that it took off so badly, that no one wanted to stay around and see how it panned out.

Now cancelled.

The Stargate saga looks to be coming to an end for now. Deadline reports that Syfy has cancelled Stargate Universe and won't be renewing the series for a third season. The show still has ten episode left for Season 2, which will air in the spring.

So well hate dislike or find the show average, there a good Scifi show ATM?
Warehouse 13 but it's not so much science fiction, like in space and such but more about objects that have special ability that one might relate to science fiction. It's similar to Eureka and I like both a lot.

Good. I hope SciFi channel comes up with something better now.

imo no, I tried to get into warehouse 13, eureka and sanctuary but they just suck too much and the charactors are annoying and the storylines are terrible.

I quite liked SGU, a few annoying things like the stupid stones but overall it was watchable which more than I can say from the other three.

I actually enjoyed Atlantis and I got my friend hooked on Stargate as well because if it. Everyone loves Dr. Rodney MacKay, you know the Canadian that is so.. Canadian. Replicator episodes are always a smash, I totally expect them to show up in Universe yet.[xmasbiggrin]

I didn't like it how Atlantis with its sprawling skyscrapers and beautiful skyline always seemed like corridors and underground tunnels. Explore/show the actual outside of the city dangit!

they have killed off caprica, which atleast had a decent wrap up episode this past week. now they are killing off universe. they are killing all the shows that make the channel worth watching. If they would put a little of the budget they put into all the horrible movies they make into making a few of their series just a little bit better it would be nice. they havnt made a single movie worth watching other than the couple stargate movies and the the galactica movies. I didnt even care for galactica at the time that it was on, but really have gotten into it recently.
