Default New Pistol - gun pr0n included
Just got home with my Springfield EMP .40. expecting WI to pass concealed carry this year, and it seems as though these pistols are still kinda tough to come by... I had the means, so i snagged it. This is a very nice piece. very, VERY tight, and it should be for the price! too cold to go shooting (im a wuss), but this weekend supposed to be in the 30's and i might get out [thumbup]

Looks like a Colt Commander.

Is that a magazine extension or are they all like that?

the difference is that the colt commander keeps a full size 1911 frame, this frame is a little smaller and pieces inside were redesigned to be more reliable with short action cartridges (9mm, and .40SW) Not an extension, just plastic pad so when you slam it in quickly it is more likely to fully seat.

awesome!

Very nice piece! Those go for what I bought my full size 1911 for, ~$1k.

A smaller carry piece that I've had interest in is the Colt New Agent or Defender, I like the New Agent with the trench sights....haven't had a chance to shoot one though. Have shot a Defender and was amazed at how great it felt.

Springfield makes some great guns, as big of a Colt fanboy I am, I'd buy a Springfield just the same.

Congrats and I hope WI wisens up soon for you, let us know how you like it.
