You'd think they would be like OMG, what is it, blah blah blah. But instead, they are just quiet.

Are you kidding?

Look at the video and how fake it looks. It looks like bad effects created on Windows Movie Maker.

I feel sad that you are fooled by something so simplistic. You know that the opposite of skeptical is gullible right? We have HD resolution cameras yet no one can seem to capture footage that isn't a blurry pixelated mess.
What bad effects? I think these are the effect's of uploading a video to Youtube.

Interesting, four different videos taken from different locations of the same event, it's hard to believe this is a hoax tbh, i can't see those four groups of people all working together to orchestrate this.

Exactly, just because it's not a spaceship full of little green men, doesn't mean it's a hoax.

does nobody else notice the multiple red flashing lights at the end of the video from the guys up on the mountain, they are much easier to see in the vid from the telegraph in the opening post that any others I have watched. They start off in a triangle shape with one in the middle and then seem to either morph or just be bigger than the original triangle shape leads to believe.

It's beyond the realms of possibility that a team of 4 or more people could work towards a single goal. The only plausible explanation is that aliens take a deep interest in earthly religious sites.

I saw those too, thought it was just me.

It's more the situation than the the goal, what i was thinking was you have a group of americans on vacation filming one and groups of Muslims filming the others, Americans and Muslims in Jerusalem working together? With the current climate that is highly unlikely imo. Secondly, just because people say it is a UFO and don't believe it's a hoax, that doesn't automatically mean they think it's aliens either.

For me the thing that immediately sets my fake alarm bell ringing is that it's hovering over what is arguably the most religiously significant building in the world. Why?

You mean, somebody studying us WOULDN'T take an interested in a site that created three of the world's most powerful religions, with these religions being both a source of most of the planet's modern history (including starting major wars, political upheaval, and geographic divisions) and the current world events. Of course they wouldn't want to study something that has a major following in 5 of the 7 continents of this planet. What a silly thing it would be to study one of the things that arguably makes us the most unique.....

I tend to take everything (of this ilk) with a healthy dose of scepticism, but that includes debunking articles, since just as i can see and understand that some people do go to great lengths to create a hoax like this, i also think that some people would go to great lengths to disprove something like this, whether it's real or not, after all we also have to take their word that what they are telling is true, so why should their word be any better than these potential hoaxers?

And those same beings are going to remain visible while they do it? Right in the open? We know enough from viewing animals in the wild that that isn't a good way to go about things.

Who knows. If they are aliens, not only is their biology "alien" to us, but so would be their thinking. We as humans may not do it, but can you say you know how an alien race would study us?

I'm not saying either way if it is real or fake, but rather than outright dismissing it based on these things, because WE don't find it normal or important, is not correct.

This stupidest part about this is that anything capable of interstellar travel would notice us in the same way that we notice a bug on our arm. You are falling into the trap of human arrogance to think that they would even remotely care about some silly religions.

Beyond that, religions are fake and simply are used to exploit people for money.

Also, it is embarrassing how gullible some of you are. You make me weep for mankind. It is ****ing embarrassing to be duped by something so stupid. I question how you can function in normal society without getting fooled.

Eh,the judeo christian religions basically just stole it all from pagan religions and ditched the multiple gods thing.
The area hardly "created" anything.

Show me a bug that has launched nuclear weapons that we are ignoring, and then maybe you have a point.

Oy... what makes you think i am arguing either way about religion!? All i said what that it influences a large majority of the worlds population. Regardless of WHY they exist, they DO exist, and exert a huge cultural and social impact, something that WOULD be worth studying.

I am questioning why this kid of attitude is allowed on these boards, but eh.. whadda know..

.
You obviously cannot comprehend it. The technology level and advancement that a civilization would have to reach to come from another planet or elsewhere would be BEYOND our comprehension. I think Dr. Tyson said the closest possible planet would be at a minimum of 700 light years away. The technology to be able to travel from that planet to ours across a galaxy where 99% of it wants to kill us would be absolutely tremendous that is simply incomprehensible to anyone today. A species THAT advanced would barely notice humans as anything more than ants building ant hills.

You don't seem to have the logical capacity to break away from the human arrogance which seems to think we are anything even remotely significant.

As for my last point, it is relevant. These videos are so clearly faked and edited and some people cannot see past that almost instantaneously?
