What a tard, I don't feel sorry for her at all.

1) She makes more than me still

2) That's not what Christmas is about
Pretty sure christmas is about suckering everyone I know into filling the bottom of my tree with stuff of my want list, because it sure as **** isn't about some mystical man-figure born from some invisible guy in the stars who people idolized to write a book of lies.

Christ what a bunch of A'holes some of you are!

Sure, she has a skewed idea on what it is to be poor and should have been putting money away and not blowing it on expensive sundries, BUT it's relative.
As for borrowing, at the least she'd paid of her credit cards mid year and hadn't used them since - more than can be said for most of us, if we're honest!

However, as some have said, she and her friend(s) still seem to be focussed on material things, rather than family. Perhaps they should have been up front with their kids when things started to get tough and tell them not to expect expensive gifts and if the brats don't like it, tough - they can get a part time job and buy it themselves*!

*As a kid, both sides of my family were relatively wealthy (not so now, sadly) and I certainly wasn't bought expensive toys/gifts and if I wanted something like a bike, I was encouraged to save up half and my parents would match it - if they approved.

Assholes? I think not. Half the people here (or more) are not doing as well as this lady currently is and yet she has the audacity to complain that she deserves more? She is obviously a selfish bitch who thinks the world owes her something even though she is only in her situation because of her actions.

Not one person here is an *******.

Only £500 a week? Yeah, real hard times [no]
Yeah! wish I could earn that every week as a "writer".

To earn that much I have to work a whole weeks worth of night shifts, so yeah! my heart bleeds for her..... Not !!

I know parents who are having to work over Xmas Eve, Xmas Day, Boxing Day and New Year just to make ends meet over this period, that spoilt bint has no idea what Xmas is really about and cannot imagine what it's like to be forced to be at work over Xmas while your kids are at home without you, just so you can keep a roof over your head, stick her in a council house for a month on benefits or a minimum wage job, then she might think twice before complaining about her current situation and actually consider herself lucky, i know many people who would.
