Optical illusions
 

Remember that video from the news chopper recently that convinced people a rocket had been launched of the East of of the US?

Well it reminded me of an illusion I saw at the coast in South Australia. I was at Kingston and could see Cape Jaffa around 9 miles away. But it looked like the township was floating in the sky. Here is a zoomed in pic http://www.discussworldissues.com/fo...ies/wacko1.gif

It's a mirage - looks cool!

Jerremy Beadle has a tiny pen0r... but on the other-hand it's massive.

If your eyes follow the movement of the rotating pink dot,
the dots will remain only one color, pink.

However if you stare at the black " +" in the center, the moving dots turns to green.

Now, concentrate on the black " + " in the center of the picture. After a short period, all the pink dots will slowly disappear, and you will only see only a single green dot rotating.

Looks like someone went wild with Paint's rubber tool.

Did they ever figure out if that was or was not a rocket? As of now I haven't heard any updates. The last of heard of it was below, which doesn't look like an optical illusion.

I forget the match but it was at the World Cup this year. England vs someone I think a disallowed goal which was blatantly in.

It was some soccer match when a goal was disallowed, although everyone but the ref' could see it was plainly over the line.
