Default The Sony Walkman TPS-L2
http://news.yahoo.com/s/nf/20101026/tc_nf/75761

It revolutionized listening to the music you wanted on the go. And Sony has finally decided to discontinue it's production.

Who here owns (or used to own) this piece of history?

BTW, this portable cassette player can fetch a handsome sum on eBay! http://cgi.ebay.com/VINTAGE-SONY-WAL...item3cb23dcf7e

Old and outdated technology is being retired because it ceases to be profitable to a world wide corporation ?

Shocking.

I don't think anyone here is claiming that it's supposed to be 'shocking'. It's simply a RIP thread to a revolutionary piece of technology.

lol! Not only can you not post about anything that isn't massively outdated, but your 'news' is also OLD.

I know this news came out last month, but since no one posted this on FM, I decided to start this topic.
