We should inform the folks on FM what Bathurst is.

The track is the Laguna Seca of Australia. It's a tough track with lots of bumps, crazy turns and dips that tests drivers to the max. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mount_Panorama_Circuit

Now the most famous race on this track is the part of the V8 Supercar series. Basically it's 5.0 litre V8's that are planted into the shell of Australia's two popular road going sedans; Holden Commodore and Ford Falcon.

Here is a link to a warmup and hot lap done by Mark Skafe. A well respected Australian race driver. It gives a good idea of how unforgiving this track can be. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=a-6RytLs-ec

Mmm nice speed by Greg Murphy. Turn the sound up. http://www.discussworldissues.com/fo...ies/smile1.gif

ZOMG massive crash lap one! Left rear puncture sends the car off on the fastest point of the track. [surrender]

Going to take a bit of buffing out - but he walked away, which is the important thing!

Disappointing some of the car people on FM haven't shown interest. At lest those who like a V8.http://www.discussworldissues.com/fo...es/unsure1.gif

Was the safety car taken out for Bagwana?! That means your TV feed could be 5 minutes more live than ours. We had over 27 laps left on our TV when you posted. [surrender]

Well, they've got to pump in those adverts - better a delay than miss out on the action, I'd say.
However, best to have the last 1/2 hour ad' free!

Well as always the end keeping you on edge!!! Good drive by Lowndes. Though I was kind of hoping fuel might have come into play if it wasn't for the last safety car. It would have made for a slightly different finish.

I guess it's a lot more exciting when you can actually see it.
