So I signed up for a Simplicity tarrif, since I rarely make calls and usually just text. The new simm got activated and my old P&G simm went to "No Service". I switched simms and I can only just get 1 bar of signal, or 2 if I stand in a specific spot at home. My old O2 P&G simm I'd get full signal everywhere except our garage where I'd get 3/5 bars.

Thing is, I went on a contract with O2 about 3 months back, but had to cancel due to the exact same signal problems. As soon as I swapped my simm to my old P&G simm the signal would come back.

O2 tell me they both work off the same network but how can that be if one gets perfect signal and one gets none?

Is it 3G signal on both? Edge is a much stronger signal than 3g.

3G on my Pay & Go, couldn't comment on Simplicity since I've lost signal altogether now.

Been on O2 since like 1999. It's been the only service provider which gave signal when I went fishing. My dad's Orange phone and my mates 3, then Tmobile didn't work but I always had signal.
