AIM
MSN
iTunes
Zune (for my Zune obv)
uTorrent
VLC Media Player
Combined Community Codec
Winrar
YVD
Firefox
PSCS4
Avast Anti-Virus

Id obviously have to re-add all my anime / manga / movies / series.

I try to keep as little in my PC as possible at any given time. I don't like it getting clogged with crap I dont need / use regularly.

What I generally start with is:

uTorrent
Flash
AIM
Avast
Belarc Advisor
DivX
Game Booster
Java
MagicISO
MSN w/ MsgPlus
Office 2007
Silverlight
IRC
Firefox
Opera
Prism
Speedfan
TeamSpeak
Winrar
Wise disk/registry cleaner
Xfire
Daemon Tools

And besides installing apps/programs, going through drivers and updating them, and patching through Windows Update.

MSN
AIM
YVD
Firefox
Photoshop
Microsoft Office Word 2007
Extract Now
FLV Player
VLC Media Player
DIVX
DVD Shrink

I'm looking for new programs that are fun all the time. So I like this list idea.

Lets see, I haven't had to do this before as I'm still burden with my first PC (which surprisingly has never died on me) and still haven't bought a new one; I'd definately go for these programs though:

Windows Service Packs
Avast! Antivirus
Spybot Search & Destroy
Google Chrome
Trillian
OpenOffice
TortoiseSVN
Daemon Tools
(**I'll need to restart at this point**)
Visual Studio 2005 (Or Newer)
Adobe Flash CS3 (Or Newer)
Adobe Photoshop CS2 (Or Newer)
Autodesk Maya 8.5 (Or Newer)
(**And this point**)
Phantasy Star Online: Blue Burst
Valve Steam Client
YVD 9.0 (Or Other Dueling Application)

And the latest versions of Java's Runtime Environment, Flash Player, Microsoft's DirectX SDK, Platform SDK, the .NET Developer Framework.

So yeah, that's all that comes to mind.

The past three, maybe four computers I have bought already have Windows installed. I reset this one totally (OK; I ended up paying someone to do it, then realised what they'd done and was like "I could've just bought a new Hard Drive you douche. ¬_¬) and that's all I did.

Unless you count Flashplayer. Then add that.
