On a similar note, a girl I work with posted on her facebook "OMG that little perv keeps standing so close to me an he stinks!" about the new guy we had working here. Obviously forgetting he was on her friends list...

Someone working on another site for the company I worked for, was sacked due to the stuff they were posting on facebook about a female member of staff about a month ago.

Little did the **** realise that

a/ He was friends with her.
b/ Friends with his manager.
c/ Friends with our security officer who would deal with this type of thing.
d/ Friends with me (IT department) who would collect this data
e/ FRIENDS WITH THE MD OF THE ENTIRE COMPANY.

oh the fun he must of had when they presented evidence against him when he denied it all...[rofl]

Facebook claims it has 300 million active users, not sure how skewed the number is though.

i dont know what other use it for but i use it to play a couple games and talk to friends in korea and iraq (friends in the army). thats pretty much it. if that makes it crap then i dont know.
