1. The creation of the world is the most marvelous achievement imaginable.
2. The merit of an achievement is the product of (a) its intrinsic quality, and (b) the ability of its creator. 3. The greater the disability (or handicap) of the creator, the more impressive the achievement. 4. The most formidable handicap for a creator would be non-existence. 5. Therefore if we suppose that the universe is the product of an existent creator we can conceive a greater being — namely, one who created everything while not existing. 6. Therefore, God does not exist. |

Well, then please tell what is Dark energy dominated/accelerating universe (today). What the hell is dark energy anyway? Matter dominated Universe; formation of structure e.g. galaxies etc. Dark matter? We have reasonable explanations for what that could be, but no evidence of it in the lab. Formation of stars/reionization Recombination/cosmic microwave background THIS IS THE LAST THING WE CAN SEE; EVERYTHING ELSE IS IMPUTED FROM KNOWLEDGE OF PHYSICS Radiation dominated Universe; plasma Nucleosynthesis Photon gas Lepton soup Baryonic plasma Quark-gluon plasma Baryogenesis, leptogenesis (this is the first early Universe thing we don't understand very well! How come the Universe has more matter than antimatter?) Reheating (??? does this happen before or after baryogenesis? maybe it's the cause of it?) where the energy of the inflatonic field (????) gets dumped into the more usual, standard model fields The inflationary epoch (? we know it happened, but we don't know much about it; can put some limits on its beginning and its end, but not very strong ones. Don't know what caused it) High energy stuff we don't know much about. EWSB probably happens here. Does the Universe make it up to the Planck scale? What happens there? No data, no real theories. As you can see, there's no "beginning" of the Universe to point to. |
