We don't "need" a lot of things, but we do them anyway, because they're fun, like porn, and you might learn a thing or two. In conclusion, porn is a legitimate part of modern popular culture.

I find myself addicted to it also.

Sometimes I go long lengths of time without it, other times I am back to almost every day.

And actually, a site of a breast (or even clothed completely) still turns me on and I don't need porn at all. It is just that I am so use to it that I want it and often remember that it is much better than it really is. Really it is just a fake expenditure because I can't find a mate to make love with.

Pron makes money. Almost nothing else on the web has a profit margin at all, but pron has a very high margin. That's why there is so much. Due to the nature of exhibitionists, there would always be some, even if folks didn't pay high fees for it.

Before the internet was invented, porn was found on railway embankments. To this day, I'm not sure why.

because porn is good.
Because many people are too defective when it comes to their looks, their psycho etc and can't get laid, while many people are not defective when it comes to their looks and others
can uh get themselves laid watching these undefective ones.

and yes I admit I may be addicted. Hence why I made this thread. I feel bad about it.

It's weird, I have this catholic guilt even though I never really went to catholic church. I think in all I went to church less than 10 or 20 times. But I think it was a leftover from my mother's family. Or maybe I have mormon guilt left over from my father's family. Who knows.

But I feel bad. Because I know porn is objectifying women. but some women I like to see their face splattered with... errr you know. I feel bad about that.

@Dis
It took me two weeks to stop masturbating. I wasn't able to stop watching porn and continue masturbating. I had to stop it completely, these two together.

I also took another decision, I decided to go talk to girl I was attracted to. I didn't spoke to them in order to sleep with them, but just to have a conversation with them and learn how to spoke to a women. I found that it's easy to talk to a girl.

Really, to stop masturbating was a illuminating experience in my life. I was afraid to become more perverts ( by the act of suppression (refoulement)), but after two weeks, I was surprised that I stopped being so obsessed with sex. I thought it was a more natural sex drive...

I'm pretty sure I was addicted to porn and one of the best decisions of the last years was to stop masturbating. It completely changed my relation to women. I believe that masturbation for some men is an infantile way to have "sex life". For some of them, masturbation it's their only sex life.

Two month later, I met a girl and she is now my girlfriend. Since I began masturbating (around 14y old) I never stopped having a regular sex life( at least 2-3 times a week) (masturbating, girlfriend, f**k friend).

@Dis: But women objectify themselves, or put themselves in situations where they are objectified. Some of them might even objectify men.

We don't know why, but it happens. And eevn if it really is "society" that makes them do it, how is one man going to undo that? Why lay that on your shoulders, why worry? Why act a ****ing martyr when nobody gives a ****? It is better to go with the flow, and makes for a much happier person. Watch porn in the safe assurance that it is something that healthy men and women do.

The alternative is that our majority culture is insane, and that sounds like something a communist might say.

@Cronos: You're just getting old.

You're not in the same situation than Dis.

Dis seems to see that has a problem, and I think he is right to think this is a problems. I wouldn't have appeared in this discussion if Dis didn't thought this was a problem. I shared my experience in that dept, and in my case, it's really the best decision that I took. And I say this not because it leads me to find love... but because of maturity I took in my sex life during my period of sexual abstinence and other positive externalities I found out during this period of abstinence.

Also, I can't understand how you can masturbate to porn if you are in love with your girlfriend...

Who said I was in love with my girlfriend? We've only been together for about a month and a half.

But that's not the issue.

Masturbation provides me with an orgasm and nothing more. And sometimes that's all I need.

Sex with my girlfriend, on the other hand, provides me with emotional and physical intimacy that I could get nowhere else. They're two different things.
I understand.

I think that porn is no good for some people.

Other people seem to handle it fine.

Probably similarly to alcohol, more people have problems than like to admit it.

in any case I prefer to keep moderate search on when I'm doing a google search. It seems to filter out a lot of stuff I don't want, but I can still find what I need without feeling important sites are being censored out. so if I do a search for ****, I can get roosters, not cocks.

To the OP, tests have found that men (to a high degree) and women (to a less high degree but still notable) display a greater arousal response to different porn films rather than when shown the same one over and over.

This may have some anthropological origin too - mating with several different partners over the course of a lifetime could give rise to a more robust offspring pool and greater longterm survivability.

This is all a very roundabout way of saying it's not really surprising that humans (who are fertile year-round) respond positively to sexual variation.

love actually? never seen it. Are there alot of sex scenes in it?

as for different porn. There was a time I searched for different porn (eventually got a virus on my computer), so now I don't do that. I have determined there is no better porn to be found. Every damn chick has tattoos and friggin' piercings. ugh.

So even though I may have 1095 files in my porn folder (see dis' porn thread lol), most are pics. And the only vids I watch are of one couple. So at most I watch around 10 or 20 movies of them. Simply put this woman is amazing, and I have found nothing better. I think the best part is they are an actual couple, which makes the sex scenes better imho. I might be tempted to look for porn again if I could find a real amateur couple (married or bf/gf). But looking at drugged out sluts getting paid to be *** on isn't very appealing. Some of the sluts look so drugged out and/or drunk in the films.

So in conclusion, there is no decent porn to be found on the internet. As previously stated I'll watch 10 or 20 files every now and then (about once a month) when I feel the need. But I prefer my imagination.
