how do you file a complaint with ebay about an item that does not fit correctly
how do you file a complaint with ebay about an item that does not fit correctly?
i bought a double bubble wind screen for my Yamaha r1 and it fits like crap, it doesnt seal up it look terrible i have purchased windscreens from this guy in the past for my old bike, a 1999 Honda f4 and they looked and fit great... i have requested that the seller gives me a refund but he has not answered my messge, it has been several days at this point |
Is there anything wrong or defective about the item itself? I'm not sure what the refund policy is on eBay but, I would try and give him a couple more days at least...

As you got what you ordered and it fits, just not perfectly... you won't get anywhere with saying it's significantly not as described, but feel free to try. The only way to open this kind of dispute is through paypal, not ebay. |

well technically its not fit for purpose.
but then again if its an after market component then its a grey area because of manufacturing processes from the non oem manufacturer best thing to do is check his terms of sale on the purchasing of said parts. IE: "buyer is responsible for buying the correct part to ensure correct fitment" |

Is there any reason to like him? I am sure if we had a vote on banning him I know what the answer would be..

If the item doesn't function as described dispute it through paypal. Do you have a link to the auction?

Says it fits 02 & 03. As long as that's the year of your bike I'd definitely complain that it doesn't fit right. It should fit just like an OEM part.
