It will certainly be a big movie. The jury is still out on whether it will be Star Trek, though.

Granted this looks to be the movie of 2009, all my friends--even the non-Star Trek friends say they absolutely love this trailer and look forward to the movie.

It's Star Trek, but not as we know it.

It stands to reason that the chances of there ever being a new series rests on the success of this film so they're blatantly going to pull out all the stops.

It still seems like Star Trek but just more mainstream and much less stuffy.

Terminator Salvation could very well be an amazing movie as well, and I look forward to it

I prefer 24th century Star Trek over the others, but I guess that isn't the money maker for Paramount unfortunately.
