I am relatively new to Russian Orthodoxy and I have to travel to Oxford once a month for worship. Is there anyone out there living in or near Bromsgrove (Worcestershire) with whom I might have fellowship. Also, where is the nearest retreat centre. I understand the retreat in Essex, or thereabouts, is difficult to actually get to.

The monastery in Essex is not that hard to get to - I managed it from Scotland in Lent without getting lost or seriously inconvenienced. There's a thread with a lot of advice http://www.monachos.net/forum/showth...eferrerid=8682 and, if I remember rightly without reading it again, Andreas' directions were very good.
