Wow

I ordered some things from Hong Kong and they were posted on the 20th, and they arrived today!

I thought post was supposed to be slow this time of year??

Faster than slow ass Play.com.

I feel like forwarding your thread to them.

But that delivery from Hong Kong was damn quick.
Whenever I order from there, it always takes about a week or so.
Quickest i think was 4 working days.

Now look what you've done...
... now I'm in the mood to buy some obscure crap from there!

What shipping company.

I know this is nothing compared to that, cause that is damn good service.

I returned an item to amazon on Monday. Sent it that evening, about 4.30pm and it arrived Tuesday afternoon, Amazon then had processed my refund by about 4pm. Just general first class, royal mail http://www.discussworldissues.com/fo...ies/blink1.gif

Ive found it doesn't really matter what time of year you buy stuff from that region it all comes quickly but like you said its Christmas and things should be slow, makes our postal service in this country look **** sorry should rephrase that...the postal service in this country IS ****! http://www.discussworldissues.com/fo...ies/laugh1.gif

In asian countries, xmas celebration is not as big as in europe or us like over here xmas holiday is only on 25th Dec. Work starts back at 26th, well depends on company too because sometimes they give a 2 day holiday instead of one http://www.discussworldissues.com/fo...ies/laugh1.gif

But if you order around Chinese New Year, that would be different story http://www.discussworldissues.com/fo...ies/smile1.gif and yea what OHP said might be true too http://www.discussworldissues.com/fo...es/tongue1.gif

I was fairly amazed to order over the telephone a laptop for a neighbour, from ebuyer, last friday at 6.45pm and the neighbour received it via courier at 7.45am the following morning.
Sent Special Delivery.
13 hours from order to delivery, is bloody good going, especially for ebuyer who have been poor for me in the past.
