 2 Dutch men guilty of injecting 14 with HIV
I have gotten pretty good over the years at getting into the heads of others and trying to see things from a different perspective than my own. But sometimes, something like this comes along, and I find that no matter how I twist, I cant imagine even for an instant what would motivate people to do some things. [no]

But in Wednesday's ruling, judges said while the victims all had HIV, it could not be proven that they were infected by the injections because they willingly took part in orgies where gay men had unprotected sex. Looks like it didn't matter if the victims got HIV anyways . . . . .

Looks like it didn't matter if the victims got HIV anyways . . . . . Also if GHB is being used at or by the people who did visit that "party" no longer have any willpower left in them, thus can't come up for themselfs... The 2 guys who are being sentenced knew what they were doing and had plans to carry this out. It does not matter if you find everything repulsive. Because that is not what it is about. |

Personally, I think anyone who intentionally infects people with life threatening diesease in such a manner, should just be put to ****ing death.[thumbdown]

Holland and their law... you have got to love it Then they just randomly arrest you (me and a friend in this case) , say you have killed someone (only because we went to check out what was going on and looked weird i guess) and then 3 days later they figure out I (and friend) didn't do it [cursing] not a excuse nothing  and then they find it weird the next cop that wanted to give me a ticket gets a slame in his face... Stupid i know but still  !sorry just had to let it out...........excuse my grammar and or spelling

Yeah SnW, but our system have problems like any other system.
Only we try to be more humane. In alot of cases that is good! I don't want to think about some other countries! Plus you only hear about the screw ups or the ones which the majority of people find the sentence to be too low, emphased by the media's attention. Very short point of view, to just shout: police does nothing more than.. or another classic one: in jail for life! The only thing they need to change here is the TBS. This is a sort of clinic that is jail and mental hospital. Sometimes people may take absence , sometimes not. And this kind of treatment can be sentenced for life ! |

It is Horrific to be injected with AIDS though, no matter what your sexual preference is [no] surely If you inject someone with aids that's classed as murder ? |

/trying not to come across as homophobic [no] I know that it depends on where you live and I am not a lawyer but im going to answer this the best to my ability. First, you would have to prove that the disease will ultimately be the cause of their death. With so many people living long periods of time with aids that is going to be hard to prove. I believe that if someone wanted to push it then the people who did the injecting could possibly be found guilty with premeditated murder. I also can see them being charged with Assault with intent to do great bodily harm less than murder. I would add conspiracy but I can't remember exactly how that goes... I think it requires more than 2 people to conspire but I can't remember for the life of me. |

surely If you inject someone with aids that's classed as murder ? Your body may reject the virus and nothing may happen, if you are tested positive on carrying the HIV virus, it is hard to proof that the virus wasn't already in your system. And putting your willy in a random guy.. or a random girl is the same. Yeah the statistics say....

yeah but as of now there's no Known cure so technically you have knowingly infected someone with a fatal disease so you are committing Murder all be it delayed. A hospital did a bonemerrow transplant on the infected guy that came from someone who is resistant. Him being monitord only show positive results, it has succeeded. But this is luck of the draw. It's not murder, it is a unsure future. When evidence can make it hard that HIV/AIDS has been given on purpose and not earlier in time due sick contacts of that person. |
