I too see nothing wrong with the headline. As Rainwind said, perhaps the fact that they were Cagefighters they were capable of being able to pull it off due to their fitness level.

Seriously - have journalism standards just gone down the toilet completely? What on earth does the fact they were cage fighters have to do with the robbery or what happened at all?

You don't see headlines like "two runners behind robbery", or "two karate people behind robbery".

Not that I personally like cage-fighting, - but the only reason I can think of for mentioning it in this particular article is if they were trying to demonise the activity....

Well, contrary to imaginationland, newspapers/media are in it to make money.

I don't know what world you live in that you think there is any nobility/dignity/integrity left in reporting, but it's pretty damn naive of you.

I should point out that he is talking about a BBC news story. The BBC are a non-profit making publicly own group. Normally you'd be right but not in this instance.

Yes, and their reporters work for free, and they don't care AT ALL about getting people to read/watch their journalism.

Unless all the employee's of BBC are volunteers, then non-profit means exactly jack ****.
