gone forever? i thought they kept it around for refrence. bah crap...

well someone sold me a steam account, and i used it for a while, but then i stopped using it for like 2 years. now i need it back but i dont remember the email address sooooo... crap

When you say old FM site, are you talking about before we're as we are now and on vB and in the current folder structure?
If so, then unfortunately that information did get wiped and started afresh. Backups were probably kept for FM reasons, but the likelyhood of getting them restored for you are very low to zero unfortunately.

Well I guess I'm out of luck then. When we swapped over to these boards I thought that for a while fm still had the older boards accessable but not functional. I think it's a hotmail acct I'm looking for but I really don't remember anymore it's been so long

Indeed we did, but that was also wwwthreads, which had a post expiration date of 30 days, so they would have auto expired and deleted themselves anyway.

well i joined Xfire 6-20-05, so i probably bought the account just before that because counter strike was the only game i had that i needed/wanted xfire for...

i know what the account password is... i jsut dont know the email address or ID
its something like steamuser@hotmail.com or steam_user@hotmail.com i cant figure it out [thumbdown] damn long long long term memory letting me down right now![cursing] lol

It was JDFRITZ11 that i purchased it from. on 6-8-05 (according to my paypal records)
sent him an email to the 2 address provided on his paypal. Hopefully he can help me out
