WTF i cant use mp3's with new ipod touch?
 

ok i just went and bought a new 2G ipod touch and i seriously cant figure out how to get my mp3's on to this damn thing

is there something i don't know?

yeah i have itunes and i import my mp3's from my computer to the i tunes library and when i go to sync it syncs but doesn't put any mp3's onto my ipod. however i can view them all in the library under music.

what am i doing wrong? can you not use mp3's with it or something?

According to Apple you should be able to play MP3 files just fine. http://discussworldissues.com/forums...ies/wacko1.gif

Plug in the ipod, then select it in itunes once it connects. There will be a bunch of tabs for your iPod...make sure that the sync to device option is turned on in the music tab (this is all from memory, so it may not be 100% accurate).

Considering that I have ~3,000 mp3s on my touch, I'm pretty damn sure it can play mp3s.[rofl]

ok i fixed it

i guess i had it set to manually manage music
i unclicked that box and problem solved
