Yeah, I mean Alonso got a fine for just crossing the markings entering the pit, yet the same punishment is handed out for unsafe driving?

I can't help but feel if it was a McLaren involved it would have been a drive through penalty or maybe a 10 place grid drop the following race.
It would have been if it was McClaren, this proves that F1 is currently corrupt to the core.

The Ferrari Investigation Agency strike again!

Weak [no]

Massa gets fined but keeps victory

Honestly thats just a joke, what they did was far far worse than what Alonso did, and on top of it Alonso's incident was during practice.
Ferrari have some shambolic displays of pit safety on race day and they get a fine ? Yeah 10 000 Euro is a massive loss to an F1 team [rolleyes].
More like 10000 Euro in the stewards pocket to not penalise Ferrari. [thumbdown]

Bit late on this as I have been away for the weekend...

A fine for something as dangerous as that is unbelievable. With all the people exposed in the pit lane, this should have had far harsher consequences and I don't care what anyone says, he should have never been let out from his pit box - that was too close.

A 10 place grid drop for the next grand prix would have been the sensible option. This whole scenario screams favourtism.

The second incident was clearly Kimi's fault. The TV picture clearly showed the light was still red when he started moving off.
