Don't you mean, go back to sleep? http://discussworldissues.com/forums...lies/wink1.gif

It's a normal part of the sleep/wake cycle called the 'post-prandial dip'.

If you sleep regular hours it coincides with the hottest part of the day.

On the same note. If you where put in a room without sunlight you would revert back to a 25 hour sleep/wake cycle, which is the same amount of time it takes the moon to orbit the Earth. We may have crawled out of the ocean millons of yeas ago, but we still have some instincts from that time left over.

Probably around 7-11PM for me. Other than that though, I don't really feel tired. Hell, I could go to a night club that stays open until 3.30AM on a saturday night and I still don't feel tired at the end of it

I get tired about 1:30, after lunch and half and hour into my math class.

It's normal to feel sleepy after lunch as your blood is channeled into your digestive system away from your brain.

Tired randomly during the day

Is there a part in your day when you just get very sleepy and have no energy at all and then an hour or two later you are fine? It seems like every day I get very lethargic/tired around 11:00-12:00 and then afterwards I start gaining energy again. I'm not sure why this is. I am at work from 7ish to 4 or 5 everyday so my schedule stays the same and I always have an energy low point between 11 and 12. Anyone else experience something similar?

dosyrotsbop 08-01-2008 03:02 AM

Yeah, except it happens to me around 8-9pm. After that I'm good to go; in fact, some nights I have such a strong second wind around 10 or 11pm that I have trouble sleeping.

I have sleep apnea, so they got me one of those machines. yeah.. I wake up and I'm tired. I go to work and I'm tired. I come home and I'm tired.

Sometimes I'll sleep for 12 hours, wake up, be tired still, then sleep another 12. It takes about 24 for me to really feel refreshed. But on the weekends when I sleep the entire saturday away and get up sunday.. I feel pretty good.

Wow, sounds exactly what I'm like http://discussworldissues.com/forums...ies/blink1.gif I haven't really thought about it much, but I am pretty much always tired, just like you describe. No matter how much i sleep, I will still be tired. http://discussworldissues.com/forums...es/unsure1.gif
