How about lay back and enjoy the ride?

...and memorize all the emergency exits and lifeboat locations.

Just got back from one around the med. Take a hat, hot as hell. Watch it on deck too, may be breezy but it'll still get you

Take cash for tips for the cabin crew and waiters too.

Oh and a very important one - take a 4 gang adapter. Both times I've been there's only been 1 power socket in the cabins and they're right above the dressing table so some things like battery chargers don't fit.

yeah that's a good Idea it will help insulate your skin when your bobbing around in the sea whilst grasping desperately to some floating debris, watching the stern of the cruiser, slip vertically into the abyss frothing, gurgling and making its final metallic death throw of creaking and cracking as its bulkheads rupture.

but..........

on lighter note I do believe that tipping the servents is a fruitless one because they get shiteloads of money anyway plus everything aboard normally includes the "service" fee in the bill.

i'd check that one first before giving away free money to people.
