Just Bought Indash 7" WS DVD/GPS Sat Nav etc... BUT...

Not sure it's going to work int he car now... recently bought a Saab, infact today a 2003 9-3 2.0ltr Turbo... however, it comes with a factory head unit obviously, with a separate CD Player. Now, my theory was, replace the CD Player with this new one... however, lining that to the control centre of the car... MMmmm... anyone else done this?

The "Infotainment" centre int he Saab controls things like bluetooth, can use a SIM card out of my phone etc... but also, obviously controls the CD Player... hoping an electrical/music expert can fit it this week...

Anyone else had this kind of setup and did it work okay? I can't find anything on Google about changing one in a 9-3 :-( Man, this could be a serious waste of cash...

Call Crutchfield...they have the gear.

A company called Scoche (I think I spelled it right) makes all kinds of these custom parts for these purposes.

And one of the problems with Saabs is that signal sounds come from the speakers and who know what else...
