I work in a small technology company and we are currently hiring sales people. A couple of weeks ago we hired his guy James who seemed like a real sales guy and his attitude was promising. He was a total alpha-type who was in pretty good shape, dressed well, and sounded real confident on the phone. But there was something about him that just put me off.

He claimed that he came from wealth and his parent were millionaires, but he chewed tobacco spitting the excess in empty bottles and had very little to no class. He was super hyper-active and would be extremely loud on the phone and I would sometimes catch him sitting spread eagle at his desk scratching his balls. This was a type of person I wouldn't want to hang out with.

He sold his first deal in the first 3 days of being at the job and that was impressive, but his character of sucking up and being overly nice and buddy-buddy was sickening and disgusting. After a week or so he was offered a contract to work full-time. After we checked his SS# it came up as some guy living in Arizona. Red flags went up. Background check was done and it came up being more than unsatisfactory.

After googling his name a lot of interesting webpages came up, this is one of them. He has a whole page dedicated to him here.

Needless to say, his not working with us anymore.

Have you also done this? He got the position fraudulently, using false documentation, so you'd qualify.

NEW: Ellington was arrested in New York June 2008, unfortunately not before he allegedly stole from yet another victim and was, according to NY state court records, allegedly CAUGHT with the stolen property. He now has currently scheduled court appearances in NYC in July and August 2008. Wow, so this guy was arrested just last month for larceny? Did this whole thing happen after that?
