Overwhelmed? - DiscussWorldIssues - Socio-Economic Religion and Political Uncensored Debate

I just got home from my last class of the week and realized how terribly overwhelmed I am.

First I have 5 test next week, 4 are mid-terms and 1 is a final. Then I have to write an 8 page scientific paper on tool-mark impressions for my crime lab class. On top of that I have to read a chapter in my interpersonal communications class and answer all the questions it asks (which usually ends up being like 5+ pages)
I have tomorrow and Friday off of work. Say goodbye to social life!
[rofl]

After next week spring break starts though... thank god!

Anyone else get pummeled by midterm work?

Doesn't sound like I have it as bad as you, just a midterm in my hardest class and a final that is 90% of the class's grade.

Nah, this is why I'm only taking two classes this quarter. The rest of my unit load is taken up by assisting in a research lab.

Doesn't sound like I have it as bad as you, just a midterm in my hardest class and a final that is 90% of the class's grade.

Wow! 90% of the class grade?!?!!!! Well look at it like this, that could be a good thing, right?

It'll undoubtedly be heavily curved. Every class I've taken with a heavy final has been, but then again the heaviest final I've taken was "only" worth 55% of the grade.

Hopefully, the class isn't hard, but that just means I have to do better to beat everyone else.

Correct. I love getting ~70% on a test and getting an A+ in the class because everyone else scored 40-50%.

Wait to you start working.

I manage an insane budget, and more than 50 people. I'd give anything to have the "stress" levels of university back again, compared to things now!
