Default Just watched 30 Days of Shite ...
... sorry I mean night. Though this film was actually pretty shite. At times though, i admit, I did like it. When they were in the attic and just looking at the chaos outside - that was good. Also, the supermarket, but that was mainly nostalgia from the original Dawn of the Dead.

However. The ending was god awful. WHY did he have to go turn himself into a vampire and save the day hilariously when the sun came out about 5 minutes after he did so. They could have all just waited that little bit longer.
Also, I would have liked the plot to expand out a little more; with a few twists. I would have liked to see have seen the guy they locked up come back. He seemed like quite a cool character - I wasn't too sure what his task was, but I thought he may not have been killed by the boss dude and perhaps made an appearance again, somehow? I also would have liked to have seen that boat again, that would have made some damn good atmosphere.

Overall I thought the film was pretty poor. A very linear plot, which did have its good moments but generally noting original or exciting.

Oh, and one more thing I noticed - it really wasn't that dark at all.

I'm a fan of the movie, which was very faithful to the comic.

Haven't seen it, but I surmised as much from the trailers.

A general problem with movies (and tv) that have 'night monsters'. The only one that I can think of that did a great job of being night was actually Pitch Black, though the movie itself was just ok.

Because it didn't come out 5 minutes after he did that.

absolutely loved the movie, but I do completely agree that the ending was pretty bad, and pointless.

Other than that I loved every part of it.

Ben Foster's character was amazing; that guy really knows how to act(he was also in 3:10 to Yuma and X-men 3).
