How often do you guys replace your razors?

I use the same blade for months before changing it. Takes quite a while for it to feel blunt for me. I shave every 2nd day.

Completely or just somewhat?

Not sure why I ask, but I imagine somewhat?

Well i only shave once a week (whilst having a shower, get a smoother finish that way)

and Gillette blades will only last 2-3 shaves MAX for me.

Price wise they've actually gone up, its like £4.50 now for 4 blades and thats from cheapo Wilko's.

Well I use the Mach 3. Depends how fussy you are about your blades lasting. It doesn't have to feel like a super silky swift shave for me. I change once it feels like the razor is pulling the hairs rather than cutting.

Hmmm, yea.

They are way, way overpriced.

I prefer em to electric (always, always get a better shave with a blade) but that's my shaving system of choice.

Easier, quicker and cheaper FTW [thumbup]

i shave about 1 in every 3. first few blades in the pack last a month or so, but the alst one i keep forever because they're so expensive. current blades been in use for about 6 months. i might try disposables.

Personally I only change blades about once every month - Mach 3 turbo blades work out at just over a quid each. 1 Quid a month doesn't seem like much to me.

I use the 5 blade one, with single trimmer. Really expensive, about £15 for 8 but I do make them last a long time. If I'm in the office I'll shave everyday - otherwise prob every other day. I make a blade last about 2/3 weeks...

I use a safety razor that uses traditional flat two-sided replaceable blades. The razor was £40, but the blades are £3.00 for 10, if that, and they shave a whole lot closer than any Gillette I used to use. I always thought the Sensor Excel shaved closer than the Mach 3 anyway.

The same as me, funny thing is I need to shave daily and they only seem to be lasting a week or so!

Honestly, you guys spend hundreds on hardware, but 1 quid per blade seems expensive in your eyes?

Seems a bit funny to me.
Anyway yeah they're a bit overpriced - especially the branded ones.
