Need *slightly* urgent lappy advice
 

I'm thinking I'm gonna need a laptop for uni this year (3rd year) so I've been hunting around for weeks now, best deal for spec I can find is the Dell Vostro 1400:

T7100
2Gb Ram
160GB HD
8400GS
14" screen
Vista Business

That's £490, then I'd do quidco to get 5% back

But anyway, I thought I'd have more time to leave it and decide, but turns out it has a deal on it saving £80 ex VAT until the 12th, so after the 12th it'll cost atleast £80 more, and I can't see them dropping the price considering the waiting time that's already on it.

So should I go for it? or do you guys think itll be cheaper any time soon?

They had a deal that was 50 ex vat.. that ended on september the 1st.. Then they do this one!

But yeh, you can also get it cheaper if you ring them up. Atleast several people say they do.
