Slipstreaming can lead to hair loss.

That's an explosion waiting to happen! lol

Meh... Those engines don't look so impressive. I can't imagine it going even close to 200mph...
|
Probably between 50 and 100mph. Turbines make some made power for their size and weight. Though they are less fuel efficent. Turbines are much more suited to steady throttle than the type of output a car would see.
|
Considering a fist sized turbine can propel a push-bike and it's rider above 50mph... I would say those two engines would provide more than sufficiant thrust.
|
What would be fun is to direct the air intakes towards the driver's head...
Those are rocket engines, btw. Not turbine... |
From the same day, can you guess how fast this baby goes?
http://www.foxvalleyaero.com/event_g...s_2006_026.jpg Judging by the size of the silver JR radio box in the upper left I'd say that this thing is roughly 6 to 7 feet long. The blackbird always has been a sweet looking jet. |
Gabber - they're NOT rockets, FFS, don't you see the inlets? http://discussworldissues.com/forums...ies/laugh1.gif
Re SR-71 model, there's a F18 (I think) that's supposed to be good for 275 so I figure that is good for close to 400mph. http://discussworldissues.com/forums...ies/wacko1.gif |

That does look cool, would love to see it in action though [thumbup]

I've seen some jet-powered RC planes in action. One of 'em was an F16, helluva noise it makes! But damn, can it fly.[thumbup] http://discussworldissues.com/forums...lies/cool1.gif
