I mean I understand that it’s suppose to be funny in how it’s filmed as a mockumentary but holy Christ it makes the show awkward! Not awkward in that I don’t want to watch it with someone else but that it’s awkward to watch the characters stuck in situations. Is it simply the fact that they often look at the camera and the long pauses between cuts or is it something else? Their either Fing great actors or just a little change to camera work can really change a whole show!

Yes I know I’m like forty years behind everyone else with The Office but big deal!

Also, Pam is crazy cute [surrender] , Pam and Jim make the show!

We don't connect with the UK characters as much (for the most part). I've seen several episodes of the UK version and liked it, but the US version has characters that I've literally worked with before, so I can relate to it better.

The Office is stupid funny... I cannot relate to UK humor for some reason though, I think I'm missing out on a lot though from being overseas. I think the best shows PERIOD are Japanese lol. You don't even have to understand most of the language to get a kick

We don't connect with the UK characters as much (for the most part). I've seen several episodes of the UK version and liked it, but the US version has characters that I've literally worked with before, so I can relate to it better.

Exactly. Having worked in the UK as well as the US (far longer in the US though) I can see how it would be hard for either to relate to the import version. That being said I am a huge fan- excellent casting and reminds me so much of where I work.
