I've been asked to build up a new PC, but I dont really have time to check every review and benchmark of each part, so since you guys know the latest and greatest hardware then perhaps you can give ideas for a new PC.

Budget - £700.

If possible I'd like it to be based on UK prices as its not as easy as just saying $2 = £1 as we pay more for parts anyways.

So, need a PC that will last 3-4 years, dont need anything like RAID, or SLI graphics ... just a good, fast PC to run Vista Ultimate & other programs maybe even some games so a good 3D Mark score would be good.

I have a rough idea of what is needed but I'm not sure which motherboard is the best. I was planning:

C2D E6600
2Gb DDR2
Geforce 7600GT
Soundblaster Audigy 4



I dont need a monitor, keyboard, mouse or tower.


Ideas welcome and links to items also welcome, preferably from Ebuyer
