so, i ordered something off ebay - from a reputable seller. I see that they have gone the cheapest shipping route possible, FedEx Home Delivery. Now, i have never ever used this service - Express has always been cheap and fast.
I read around, and have been reading some horrror stories about FedEx ground, though i don't know if they are in my area (and many of the stories are 3-6 years old...). I am already worried, because in talking to a FedEx rep, the fact that the package says "Adult Signature Required" means that it won't be dropped off at the office. This is a pain in the butt, given that i work and go to school. So.... anyone have any experience with them? |

It's different than normal FedEx ground (express saver)? I love FedEx, they always come nice and early in the morning. And don't confuse Ground with Express (Saver). Ground is truely ground, while the saver is not. Not to mention, that Ground is actually 3rd party contractors, not regular FedEx... |

It's better than UPS. http://www.epinions.com/bsrv-Office_...splay_~reviews Normally, i would agree with you - to me, UPS is second rate. I know FedEx Express has NEVER failed me. But since ground/Home Delivery is different (and not even owned by FedEx), i went looking. It is storeis like this: http://www.epinions.com/content_153620090500 that scares the crap out of me... I would have chosen a better option, but was given no choice. If it wasn't a $200 camera lens, I wouldn't be so worried.... |
