I pre-ordered on Amazon - hopefully it will arrive today. Agreed - the best nature series I have ever seen. Simply amazing! And you can't go wrong with David Attenborough! My only dilemna was which format to get. In the end I chose HD-DVD over Blu-Ray - hopefully that won't come back and bite me in the ass.....

I just saw one episode on TV and thenimmediately went and ordered the HD DVD box set. [thumbup] (I also ordered The Matrix Ultimate box set).

I picked it up yesterday on HD DVD. I've only been able to watch the first episode so far, but I'm very impressed.

I wish the BBC would put some funding in to do something on the scale of Planet Earth, but instead for space instead.
The last BBC documentary on space was "The Planets" and although I enjoyed it 8 years ago, watching it again recently I realised it was perhaps a bit out of date (NASA due to launch the Cassini probe...etc!)
