Fully deserved. The confidence in which he skips past players, is just insane. Fast paced, trickery and a brilliant end product, 95% of the time. At times when he is on the ball, I just think no one can stop him

Awesome. The team of the year as well just comes to show that you don't need millions and millions to create an incredible team. Just hard work, and determination! [thumbup]

Why do you say that?

I'm English and a Man Utd supporter, I didnt like the winking at the World Cup etc but he's literally silenced every reporter and supporter with his array of skill and goals.

He deserved both accolades.

Maybe AEK Athens will meet Man Utd in the group stages next year and we'll pummel you 7-1 too with a hat trick from Ronaldo thrown in for good measure. [rofl]

He is a good player but for some reason I naturally dislike him. I don't like Man United either ever since the defeated Bayern Munich in the champions league final some years ago in over time...

By the way, I truly hope you meet AEK or Olympiakos and score even more than 7 goals against them. I am a proud Panathinaikos fan and we rule...
