Shaun the Sheep

Anybody been watching "Shaun the Sheep" on BBC1 and 2 this week? It's got to be the funniest childrens TV programme I've seen in ages.

It's made by Aardman, of Wallace and Grommit fame and is full of their trademark little quirks. Seriously good stuff http://discussworldissues.com/forums...lies/cool1.gif

If you're wondering what on earth I'm talking about, you could either take a look on youtube or if you're in the UK and have a freeview receiver, it's being shown throughout the weekend on CBBC and throughout the coming week on BBC1/BBC2.

i saw 1 and thought it was ok, not funny but i am not a fan

then i went back to workhttp://discussworldissues.com/forums...es/tongue1.gif

i find the fairly odd parents funny for a kids show myself

I admit, some have been funnier than others. I thought that the episode with the Goat (Mower Mouth http://discussworldissues.com/forums...es/unsure1.gif) was the best so far, closely followed by the Painting one (Still Life) and "Saturday Night Shaun", where the flock set up a Disco in the Barn using the Farmers old Record Player. Shaun does the whole John Travolta things and throws his Jacket/Fleece and it comes back at him as a bundle of wool [rofl]

I love the little touches that Aardman put into their work, like the stuff that goes on in the background of scenes http://discussworldissues.com/forums...lies/cool1.gif

*A bit of trivia...the Theme Tune is sung by Vic Reeves. I think the farmers voice (which is really a series of grunts, ahh's and ooh's) might be Mr Reeves too http://discussworldissues.com/forums...es/unsure1.gif

Watched that with my g/f today, its not bad but its not quite as funny as the usual Aardman stuff. Though my g/f does love shaun http://discussworldissues.com/forums...ies/blush1.gif
