Recovering Files
 

Well, I was just wondering if there is a program out there that can recover files after you have formatted? I formatted without realizing there was some things that I needed and hopefully you can help me out with recovering them!

Ah sorry to bring this thread back from the dead but the computer this program needs to be used on only has one hard drive. This program says to have a safe clean drive with this program installed to search the other drive....is there a way I can run the program from CD or Jumpdrive and have it search the drive without any problems?

Nope,
You need a second drive to store the restored data onto, otherwise you´d be re-righting over the lost data,..
Anyways you can save data to the drive your trying to recover.

Well Would it be possible to have the data it saves not written to a hard drive but external media?
