"AFTERNOON AND EVENING. NORTHWEST WINDS 10 TO 20 MPH WITH GUSTS TO
40 MPH ALONG WITH PLUMMETING TEMPERATURES TO SUB-ZERO READINGS BY
TUESDAY MORNING WILL CREATE DANGEROUSLY COLD WIND CHILLS OF 20 TO
40 BELOW ZERO FAHRENHEIT ACROSS THE NORTH COUNTRY."

I mean c'mon whats the point of that! Who likes that kind of weather I don't think there is a creature on earth.

Actually you should ask why did god made humans tolerance to low temperatures so low.

edit. Where you at by the way? I used to play football in shorts and tshirt in close to those temps. (sorry I didnt have my anemometer handy)...

Which brings me to my second point, it was 65° the other day, and I saw people in PARKAS...sad...well it was almost 90 last week

I'm guessing it was an accident that polar bears got all that fur, so god had to come up with something to justify it. Blame the bears!

Yep. I can read. -20 to -40 degrees Farenheit is equvalent to -28 to -40 degrees Celsius.

Yeah but haven't you ever seen lost? those bears are going to islands in south pacific for vacations.

And im a university student in Plattsburgh, NY. 50 miles south of Montreal and 40 miles west of Vermont. only positive is great skiing

I think the canadians invented it so they can get rid of those rotten geese for a while. We should put up a giant net on the border to keep those filthy beasts in canada for good.
