Need some help with a problem
 

Some asshat is harassing my GF with sexual and hateful messages via aim, and we want to know who it is, as it has caused my GF a lot of distress. Is there anyway to trace an IP via aim and how would I do this.

just get her to change her tune, play along, arrange a meet and then 'accidently' turn up with a couple of friends and baseball bats instead of letting her go.

haha if its some loser on campus he will have a lot of fraternity brothers to deal with, if I got his name I would invite him to a party and get him wasted till he passed out. then dump him naked in front of the administration building.

Change her AIM settings so she only accepts messages from friends on her buddy list.

and what would you do when you got his ip?

exclaim triumphantly that "IVE GOT YOUR IP ADDRESS!!!!" ?


btw use the netstat command..



or better still, ignore it?
