Lori, hey it depends what test you take. Some have limits, some don't. So these are not in scale.

FOr example if someone claimed an IQ over 180, it would be impossible in this test.

KH, at school. It wasn't official though.

Lori, I accept that I'm not the best. My downstairs makes up for the lacking points.

aahz, I'm not as much bragging as I'm just making a joke. I always declare myself the king and the biggest gift from the heaven. It shouldn't be taken seriously, even when it is in fact true.

This number could be big, or not. If the test was one of those online tests, then it's most likely bunk and the number is meaningless.

aahz, riiight...

KH, of course it wasn't official. Why would have I gone to an official test and prolly pay for it? For bragging rights? I'm not like that.

Vet, it wasn't online, but it wasn't official either. I did score maximum in the army tests though and that was official. I mean we didn't get it in figures like 160 or so, they had a scale from 1 to 9, so if you hit the top bracket, you don't know anything more. But that's the only official test I've taken.

But my package is impressive, so I have no worries.

You should make a thread where you rank the posters of Apolyton by intelligence.

Actually, on a really old text-based game I played, a friend of mine thought measuring stupidity was more important. So he took one fairly stupid girl that annoyed him a lot -- Mara. She became the unit of measurement.

He gave me a rating of 0.10 Maras, he was 0.08. Other people were 12.1 Maras, 4.5 Maras, etc.

One guy was so very, very stupid, he got the score of 49 kilomaras.

Well, the mistake, if you'd call it one, KH is making is that he feels challenged or maybe not, but left out from the superiority fest. So maybe he wanted to let us know he rolls with the big boys as well. I don't know... but I think no one has ever doubted KH is not intelligent.

I simply don't think that IQ tests are particularly meaningful. In fact, I think that a number of the tasks which you are expected to complete during an IQ test look for conventional rather than creative thinking. You are expected to match patterns in the same way that the person who wrote the test did, yet the more difficult patterns can be matched in a number of different ways. At a certain point it becomes a question of how well you understand the philosophy of the test-writer rather than how well you can discern real patterns.
