2007 GMC Sierra TV Ads...
 

Has anyone else become extremley annoyed at these advertisements? They do not even use a real truck in the Ads. They are computer drawn. It's kind of hard to see on youtube but just look at the truck wheels and also how it bounces up and down. Why would you not put the real truck in the ad?

This happens alot more than you think really. They prolly save a bundle on having a graphics artist render a whole ad rather than setup a slew of various shoots and then edit them all together.

I see your point though, put a little more confidence into your product rather than show.

If you look at the Toyota adds, they do the exact opposite

yup... toyota pwns...


Besides, Dodge was the first that I know of to use the fake truck ad's. GMC seems to have followed... anyone seen any Ford truck ad's?
