Play.com problem...
So, I order a game a while back. It doesn't show up within 14 days, I use the "didn't receive order" feature at their helpdesk to order a replacement. Then today I got an email stating that the game is out of stock and it can take as long as 28 days for them to restock.
They give me an option to get a refund and I should do this via the helpdesk... but there is no feature like that! I can't use the "didn't receive order" thingy cause the order isn't selectable anymore. All I can do is cancel the re-order but I want to be sure that the order is refunded. Why don't they have a proper email address to where I could write...[thumbdown] Any suggestions? I'd like to keep calling them as the last resort as I don't want to inflate my phone bill... |
Just give them a call - its a local call number (0845).
I've always got through to someone very quickly, and they have always been very helpful. If I have any problems with play.com, I always call them - even if its to report a non-arrived item - I never use the web form. If I speak to a human, then I know what will be done 1st-hand. |

sorry, I forgot you were not in the UK.
+44 845 800 1020 works for me from here in Holland. Its not a premium number, so it would be the normal cost of a call to the UK from your country. |
