Default Help! Addiction to Tetris is keeping me up at night!
Lately I have been obsessively playing Tetris DS on my Nintendo DS-Lite. It is such a great game! The problem is that when I am not playing Tetris, I am mentally thinking of the blocks falling down and doing my own puzzles in my head. Last night I could not sleep because I kept seeing blocks falling down in my head. Does this happen to anyone else?

Have you tried Hexic? Man, I got even more addicted to that than I did tetris. Made by the same guy, I believe.

Just get shot of the DS mate and take up jogging or some other positive replacement for your new found habit.

Force yourself to play it for 48 hours straight. Then you'll never want to play it again.[xmaswink]

hehe welcome to my world !
If i´d have to make a top 10 list of my all time favorite games,
Tetris would without a doubt be on #1 !!!
There is no other game out there that i´ve played even nearly, as often as Tetris,
i have a GBA next to the toilet, and a DS next to my bed, both packed with Tetris,..
And both get played daily.
So far i´ve purchased Tetris for the NES, Snes, PS1, GBA and DS.
I´m UNSTOPPABLE !

Ya, it happens to just about everybody who plays. You're brain is so use to doing it that you'll start seeing flashes of blocks and such by blinking your eyes, looking at certain objects, etc. It's pretty cool when it happens I think. [yes]

Hexic, hmm is that the game that came preloaded on the 360 hdd ?
If so, i hated it, it was just boring imo,
kinda like Swirl for the Sega DC.

Its about time people finally confess to having addictions to something other than fancy games.

At one time or another I have been addicted to Ms PacMan, Lemmings, Tetris, Dr Mario, I am sure theres more. Right now its Luxor 2 which is like Zuma. I am always on the search for a new eye/hand game so I subscribe to RealArcade.

I dont know what the attraction is..but supposedly it keeps your brain sharp. [rofl]

Apparently it's keeping my brain TOO sharp in that I can't stop thinking about Tetris. Seriously guys, it's pretty bad. If I'm not doing anything then I start spacing out and picturing Tetris blocks in my head. I really need to take that advice about doing something else or else I'm going to go nuts and not be able to sleep!

At least you don't twitch on your bed and then get blinded everytime you close your eyes because you see a flash bang grenade go off in front of your eyes. Oh and everybody seems to be yelling GO!GO!GO! [thumbdown]
